In 2011,tatally we have around 3.39 lakhs of seats and720 colleges.when you compare with previous yeat this year 44000 seats are increasing in engineering and pharmacy.among them 40000 seats in engineering,4000 seats in pharmacy.The total engineering colleges and seats in hyderabad are listed below clearly.

the stats says that,the engineering seats,which are not filling year by year are increasing rapidly.why its happening?there are so many reasons,some think that frr re_embresment effect,and some other saying that the quality in engineering in ap is not familiar and some other says that there was no value for engineering degree in andhra pradesh because of ther was no stuff in college faculties and poor placement records.the problem what ever it may be the seats in engineering are increased.in 2010-11,totally 194175 seats are filled.
this year 2011-12 experts and analyst estimated that atleast 1.2 lakhs of seats will not fill due to 50-50 chances to get the scholarships in this year for students,which has very strict rules to get the scholarship and also they will not release scholarship in time.
